advert Nowadays advertising has completely invaded our lives. If we get out of our home, we can see posters of beauty products and stuff like that. If we are in our homes and turn on the TV lots of advertisements come to our eyes, some of them really boring ones. But is advertising that good or is it bad?

I think that advertising has its good side. If there was no advertising we couldn’t know about the new products, so we would never know about the advances in technology or some kind of awareness campaign, for example, and it could be really useful.

On the other hand, advertising has a very bad side. I understand that they want to make us know about their products and so forth, but do they need to do so big advertisements just for one product? I can’t see the logic of doing it. Sometimes people are so tired of that advertisement that they would never, and I mean never, buy the thing that is being advertised.

To conclude I would like to say that I think of advertising as a two-sided coin, none of them being dominated by the other.
