Technology: advantages and disadvantages

The technology, today, is very important for everyone.
In Portugal, an average each habitant has 2 or 3 mobile phones, because they allow us to talk with our friends and family, everywhere and everytime.
The internet is very developed, we can work from home, pay our expenses through, for example, payshop and other services. Internet gives us communication, information, services and entertainment. So, for me, technology is crucial and essential.
The problem with technology is that people can be very addicted to her. Other disadvantages are the theft of personal information, the virus threat, people who start to loose their jobs because robotic machines are replacing them.
However, I think that technology is really important, and we just only have to use her carefully.
