Life isn’t the same without advertising: We just open the door and found a wonderful billboard of cheerful colours, such as size; the slogan could hold our attention for five seconds that will not easily be deleted from our visual memory. The world is irrevocably directed to marketing; the truth is that we no longer imagine another situation.
Maybe is too much, maybe enough… Nothing bettr than the voice of the citizen to make me understand the influence that advertising has on society. For this I was in contact with lots of people of different ages, in order to understand what is their opinion about the advertising. I obtained the following results:
- The most of women support the advertising and prefer see it on television;
- On the other hand the men are of the opinion that advertising is uninteresting, though they support it.
- They prefer television advertising, like women.
Then, I did a study for ages in order to understand what factores influenced the impressions of society.
I can conclude trough the graphs that people over 60 beginning not accept the advertising, maybe the knowledge and experience of life has influenced the way of thinking. From a general point of view, people can accept advertising and also support it.
Relatively the preferences, television is undoubtedly the organ of communications elected by the majority to enjoy the publicity. The radio is a organ of communication especially used by older age groups: The young people don’t hear much radio. One of the reasons for this fact is the replacing of radio with the Mp3 and Ipod’s.
Now… I have a huge doubt: Did I will advertise this article?
